The ceremony was also attended by members of the Arbitration Committee, the organizers of the training course, representatives of the functional departments of VFF, VPF Company, and the Southern region assessors and referees participating in training.
On behalf of VFF, Mr. Cao Van Chong – VFF Vice President asked the referees to make more efforts in updating the law, understanding the law and applying the law when manage the game, avoid errors as much as possible. Vice President Cao Van Chong noted that professional football is increasingly harsh with the development of television and other media platforms, so the spectator does not need to go to the field to still be able to watch live and comment. …
Vice President Cao Van Chong wished the referees confidence, calm and wisdom to contribute to the success of the award.
Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Standing member of the VFF Executive Committee, Chairman of the Board of VPF – shared: “I listened to the lecturers and referees to learn from experience. Indeed, I see many situations where the referees, despite their best efforts, still make mistakes and do not follow the law. Therefore, training courses like these are very useful and valuable. In my opinion, the training program has 3 days but 7 days or more is not enough. The important thing is that the referees need to make their own efforts to train, improve themselves, be good at both theory and practice to do a solid job and help the tournament succeed. Supervisors work closely with the referee to limit unfortunate errors.”
According to Mr. Tran Anh Tu, the upcoming second period is very stressful at both top and bottom of the standing, so the referees have to focus and make more efforts. VFF and VPF are also planning to invite foreign referees to run emotional and stressful matches, but it is also a timely solution, because the capacity of foreign referees is not superior to that of domestic referees. But the important thing is that they are less pressured, less public opinion, so it is also more convenient to manage the match.
The Northern Region referee training course for National Professional football tournaments in 2022 will be held at the VFF’s house from September 19 to September 21, 2022.
