Closing ceremony of the AFC Futsal Level 1 Certificate coaching course 2023
This afternoon (October 9), at the Thai Son Nam Gymnasium Hall, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City, the Closing ceremony of the AFC Futsal Level 1 Certificate coaching course 2023, organised by VFF and AFC, took place.

Attending the closing ceremony, there were Mr. Nguyen Bao Trung – Deputy Director of Thai Son Nam Futsal Club; Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy – Deputy Head of Thai Son Nam Gymnasium; Mr. Ngo Le Bang – Technical Director of Thai Son Nam Futsal Club, Course Instructor; Mr. Truong Quoc Tuan – Head Coach of Vietnam Women’s National Futsal Team; with trainees from localities across the country.
Speaking to summarize the course, instructor Ngo Le Bang thanked AFC and VFF for trusting and appointing him and coach Truong Quoc Tuan to be in charge of this course. “Besides 1 case that did not meet the time criteria, the remaining 19 trainees completed all tasks of the course. The coaches have shown a commendable and remarkable learning spirit. These are all cores for developing Vietnamese futsal in the future. After completing the practical and theory test, the results will be reported to AFC and VFF.”
Sharing at the closing ceremony, assistant Truong Quoc Tuan said: “Before this course, many of you had limited skills and knowledge, but after 6 days you have made a lot of progress. Hopefully you will apply this knowledge to serve yourself and your locality. We hope that we can maintain the group to exchange and share professional experiences, thus helping Vietnamese futsal develop further.”
Representative of the local organisation, Mr. Nguyen Bao Trung – Deputy Director of Thai Son Nam Futsal Club said: “After 6 days of observation, I see that all coaches study very actively. On behalf of the Club, we would like to thank VFF for trusting and collaborating with the Club to organize the course well. We wish the coaches much success when returning to their local areas to work.”
Also at the closing ceremony, trainee Mai Thanh Dat thanked the instructors, VFF, AFC and Thai Son Nam Club for creating favorable conditions for the course. “At the beginning there was a lot of confusion, the learning sessions were very difficult but everyone overcame it. On behalf of all trainees, I would like to send a sincere thanks to the two instructors who dedicated their efforts to the coaches today.”
Present at the ceremony, Mr. Mai Anh Hoang – Deputy Director of Grassroots Football, Coaching Education and Affiliated MAs thanked Thai Son Nam Club for creating conditions for the course’s facilities, and thanked the instructors on their contributions to the course, and at the same time encourage trainees to continue improving their knowledge to further develop in their upcoming careers.
