Closing ceremony of the AFC/VFF ‘C’ Certificate coaching couse
On the afternoon of June 27, in Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province, the closing ceremony of the AFC/VFF ‘C’ Certificate coaching couse took place. This is also the first time that the new technical director of the Vietnam Football Federation, Koshida Takeshi, has directly assumed the position of the main lecturer of the training course since coming to Vietnam to work.
Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Cao Van Chong – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong Province, Mr. Vu Duc Thanh – Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial Football Federation, Mr. Ho Hong Thach – Member of the VFF Executive Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Becamex Binh Duong Club Joint Stock Company, Mr. Le Huynh Duc – Member of the National Coach Council, Head Coach of Becamex Binh Duong Club, Mr. Koshida Takeshi – VFF Technical Director, and all the trainees attending the training course.
On behalf of the VFF and the locality hosting the training course, Mr. Ho Hong Thach – Member of the VFF Executive Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Becamex Binh Duong Club Joint Stock Company emphasized that the course was organized as a great effort of the VFF in the training of coaches at all levels aims to improve the professional qualifications of Vietnamese coaches, and thereby also meet the club licensing criteria of the Vietnam Football Federation and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Mr. Ho Hong Thach added that at present, the community football movement is developing very strongly, so the VFF will also need to have a wider audience. Coaches with C degrees will teach grassroots very well, helping the future of Vietnamese football.
Mr. Le Huynh Duc – Member of the National Coach Council, head coach of Becamex Binh Duong Club also highly appreciated the professional content of the training course, which was prepared and taught by the technical director of the Vietnam Football Federation, Koshida Takeshi. Talking to the trainees, Mr. Le Huynh Duc said: “Recently, I attended the AFC Conference and saw that modern football has changed a lot. Coaches need to monitor and update new knowledge. Congratulations to the students who have completed the training course, hope you will return to contribute to the local football movement, gain more experience to study higher training courses, up to A, then with PRO, thereby contributing to the development of Vietnamese football”.
On behalf of the “C” level coaches, Mr. Pham Viet Cuong thanked the VFF and the local host for creating favorable conditions for the trainees to participate in the training course. “For the past 13 days, all of our trainees have tried their best. On behalf of the course, I would like to thank Mr. Koshida Takeshi for his dedication to imparting valuable knowledge. The lessons from this training course will help us a lot in training work,” said Mr. Pham Viet Cuong.
