Ministry Nguyen Ngoc Thien appreciated the success of VFF term 7th

Minister appreciated the achievement of VFF in the last term. During the term, Vietnamese Football had developed in many fields including youth football, futsal. Especially in 2018, U23 Vietnam won the Silver Medal of U23 AFC Championship, or the Olympic team placed 4th in ASIAD 18.

Second, the foundation to ensure the long-term development of Vietnamese Football is focused. In the grassroots football, there were many plans and improved in many locals. The U23, U21, U19, U17… are gather training and joining the region tournaments. The education system is contributing to the appearance of football training centres such as HAGL, PVF, Viettel, Hanoi T&T, FLC Thanh Hoa, SLNA, etc.

Thirdly, VFF is appreciated by FIFA, AFC, and AFF. Through the expansion of international relationships, we have more support from overseas friends. Inviting Mr. Park Hang-seo is good evidence about the benefit of the international relationship in football.

Besides that, Minister also points out the limits of VFF. He emphasized that the limits are the challenge for Vietnamese Football, it’s required a suitable solution from VFF and MAs.

To maintain the success, Minister agreed with the vision and strategy of VFF term 8th (2018-2022). He also argued that VFF needs to focus more on the build up the professional image and working system.

Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien believed that with the guidance term 8th, Vietnamese football will have more developments and success.
