The VFF 8th Congress term 2018 – 2022
On Dec 08, The VFF 8th congress term 2018 – 2022 was held at Vietnam National Convention Centre (Hanoi)
Attending the congress there were 70 in total 71 delegates who have the voting right and 20 in total 22 members of the 7th Executive Committee.
The delegation included the representative of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry, Ministry of Home Affair, the Supreme People’s Procuracy of Vietnam, General Department of Physical Training and Sports, leaders of VFF term 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and representative of FIFA, AFC, AFF, …

After the speaking of VFF President Le Hung Dung, the congress approved the report on verification of Delegates’ eligibility to attend the General Meeting, agreed to add 5 new members included Ben Tre Association, Kontum football club, Phu dong Club, Pho Hien club, Hong Linh – Ha Tinh club, agreed on the list of delegation and secretary of Congress, agreed on plan and regulation of the congress.
Then, the delegates discussed the summary reports and strategy of the future. Especially, the congress announced the decision to compensate for individuals and units who have contribution for the development of Vietnamese Football.
