VFF Annual Congress 2020: Determined to achieve new goals in the next period
With the agreement of the Ministry of Home Affairs; Ministry of Cultural, Sports, and Tourism; General Department of Sports and Physical Training, on the morning of 21st Nov 2020, the VFF Annual Congress 2020 (term 2018-2022) was held at VFF’s office.
The delegation included: Mr. Lê Khánh Hải – Vice Chairman of the office of President, VFF President; Mr. Trần Quốc Tuấn – VFF Vice Permanent President; Mr. Cao Văn Chóng – VFF Vice President; Mr. Trần Anh Tú – Member of the VFF Executive Committee; former presidents: Mr. Trần Duy Ly, Mr. Nguyễn Trọng Hỷ; Mr. Nguyễn Hồng Minh – Deputy General Director of General Department of Sports and Physical Training; representative of Department of Political Security of Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Home Affairs; local authorities; member organizations; sponsors; General Secretary Department; head coaches of national teams; and press.
Congress was lived on a private channel and watch by FIFA, AFC, and AFF.
Vietnam football 2020 has a special situation while many tournaments had to postpone or cancel due to the Covid-19. In that difficult situation, the members of Vietnam Football united, shared, and worked together to fight the pandemic. Until the situation was under the control, society life return, with the agreement of GOV, the football tournaments returned and extend the inspirational, optimistic spirit to society.
Speak at the Congress, VFF President Lê Khánh Hải thanked member organizations, clubs, teams, centres for the responsibility in recent time. This Congress was an important meeting to discuss the plan for Vietnam football.

The Congress elected a Vice President in charge of Finance and Sponsor of VFF. Finally, Mr. Lê Văn Thành got the highest score of 52,24%.
