20 players present as national team called up

20 players had arrived in the National Sports Training Centre N0 1 for training as the national team was called up in preparation for the VTV-T&T Cup, due to kick off on April 16.

Two players from Da Nang, Manh Dung and Hong Minh would join the national team on April 14 after they return from a match of the AFC Champions League in the Republic of Korea.

Three players Truong Giang, Minh Duc and Duy Hoang had a special training as they are suffering from injuries.

Coach Alfred Riedl divided 17 players into two groups for training. The first group consists of nine players Quang Huy, Van Thanh, Van Nhien, Bao Khanh, Quy Suu, Hoang Thuong, Thanh Binh, Minh Phuong and Van Bien. The second group consists of Hong Son, The Anh, Tai Em, Huy Hoang, Cong Vinh, Vu Phong and Anh Duc.

The first group had a shooting training while the second group had light training to recover as they played in round 13 of the national championship/V-League two days ago.
