Before the Vietnam – Olympiacos friendly: All ready

The Greek defending champions Olympiacos arrived in Hanoi on May 12 and were welcomed by hundreds of fans at the NoiBaiInternationalAirport.

On the same day, the Greek coach and players attended a press conference prior to the friendly with the Vietnam National Squad, held at My Dinh national stadium on May 14.

Despite the absence of some key players such as Galletti, Coach Ernesto Valverde still expressed his belief that his players would bring a really exciting game to the Vietnamese audience.

As for Vietnam, it will only have the participation of only five players who won the Southeast Asian Cup last year including Cong Vinh, Viet Cuong, Tan Tai, Phuoc Tu and Viet Thang in its starting line-up, according to Vietnam coach Calisto.

Meanwhile, such key midfielders as Tai Em, Minh Phuong and Minh Chau can not join the upcoming match due to injury, he added.

Despite those difficulties, Vietnamese players would try their best in the upcoming match and would not let the home fans down, the national coach affirmed.
