High targets for Vietnam Women team

Heah coach of Vietnam Women National football team Tran Van Phat and VietnamFootball Federation (VFF) had a workshop yesterday (12/2) to discuss about plans forVietnam Women team and target for the team in 2009 as well.

Since AFF Women Cup 2009 is cancelld, Vietnam National team has two missions left only; Asian Cup 2010 qualifying and SEA Games 25. The team is targeted to pass the qualifying round of Asian Cup 2010 and be at the final of SEA Games 25.

After the National Women football League 2009 finishes, to prepare for Asian Cup Qualifying 2010 the team will gather from May 24^th and have a training camp at Chinese Taiwan from June 14 to June 25

The second crucial mission is SEA Games 25 which is held in Laos in December and drawn much attention of Vietnam fans. The squad will regroup on Sep 9 and spend about one month for training before attending the Than Quang Ninh Coal Open League 2009.

Coach Tran Van Phat also suggests to take the team to China for ten days of training to perfect the squad before moving to Laos for “gold dream”.
