Jenesys 2022 (March 18): U17 Vietnam women’s team won U17 Okinawa women’s team 10-0
In the second match at Jenesys 2022 taking place in Okinawa city, Japan, the U17 Vietnam women’s team beat the host Okinawa women’s team with a score of 10-0.
The U17 Vietnam women’s team did not face many difficulties, quickly taking the initiative to score 5 goals in the first half and 5 goals in the second half. Scorers include Quynh Anh (3 goals), Hoai Trinh (2 goals), Le Thi Trang (2 goals), players Deo Ky Chun, Thao Nguyen and Kim Anh respectively scored 1 goal.
Before that, on the first day of competition (March 17), the U17 Vietnam women’s team also defeated the Malaysia U17 women’s team with a score of 3-0. Evaluating on these two matches, head coach Akira said: “The players are still tired due to the long trip to Okinawa, so the player’s condition is not good. But it was amazing that we won two games in a row while some of the players got car sick. Even so, we still cannot be satisfied, we must continue to strive to reach greater success.”
According to the plan, after two wins, the U17 Vietnam women’s team will join the final round to play two more days on March 20 and March 21. At the end of the Jenesys exchange program, the whole team will move to Tokyo on March 22 to continue the series of programs and take a flight back to Hanoi on March 25.
