HA NOI — Laos’ loss to Myanmar in the qualifying round of AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 on Monday means Laos will join Viet Nam, the Philippines and Indonesia in Group A’s final round of the AFF Cup.
The winner, Myanmar will compete against Thailand, Malaysia and host Singapore in Group B.
Five teams–Laos, Brunei, East Timor, Myanmar and Cambodia–participated in the Laos-hosted qualifier, competing for the last two slots in the final round. Laos and Myanmar emerged on top.
The final round’s Group B matches will be held in Singapore while Group A matches will take place in Viet Nam from November 22 to December 20.
