Olympic London 2012: Vietnam women team started out to participate in 2nd qualifying round

Tonight, the whole team will leave Hanoi on the flight at 23:00PM for 2nd qualifying round of women’s Olympic football tournament London organized in Jordan from 3/6 to 12/6.

As planned, after arriving in Amman-Jordan. The team will have 4 days rest and light training before having matches with Iran (5/6), Jordan (7/6), Uzbekistan (10/6) and the last opponentThailand (12/6). All the teams in 2nd qualifying round will be qualified to select the winner for 3rd qualifying round of women’s Olympic football tournament London 2012.

Before starting out, leaders of VFF including President Nguyen Trong Hy, general secretary Tran Quoc Tuan, head of national teams department Truong Hai Tung and team manager Nguyen Trong Giap had one meeting with the whole team to motive players spirit. President Nguyen Trong Hy personally tasked the whole team to unite, keep fighting and successfully qualify to the 3rd qualification in this tournament.
