HANOI (26 July 2014) – The Vietnam Futsal team finished third in the Hangzhou International Futsal Tournament after conceding a 7-3 loss to China in their final round robin tie.

Defending Asian champions Iran who sent their junior side, won the event to pick up the USD 5,000 prize money.
China won USD 4,000 while the Vietnam took home USD 3,000. ASEAN neighbours Myanmar finished fourth.
Both Vietnam and Myanmar are preparing for the AFF Futsal Championship slated for 17-28 September in Malaysia.
