Meeting to organize the match between Vietnam team and China team on February 1, 2022
In the afternoon of Jan 20, at the VFF’s house, a meeting was held with units related to the organization of the match between Vietnam and China on February 1, 2022, in the FIFA World Cup Asian 3rd Qualifier.
The delegation included: Mr. Do Dinh Hong – Director of Hanoi’s Cultural and Sports Department; Mr. Le Van Thanh – VFF Vice President; Mr. Le Hoai Anh – VFF General Secretary, Chairman of the Organisation Committee; and representatives: Hanoi Police, Departments of Health and Tourism of Hanoi, representatives of People’s Committees of districts: Cau Giay, Nam Tu Liem, and Dong Da.
At the meeting, Mr. Do Dinh Hong – Director of Hanoi’s Cultural and Sports Department asked the units to report on the plan to coordinate/organize the match between the Vietnam team and China team. Mr. Do Dinh Hong emphasized, this match has special significance because it takes place on the first day of the Lunar New Year, so the units have to focus and ensure a safe and successful match organization.
On the organisation committee side, Mr. Le Hoai Anh – VFF General Secretary reported the main features of the match organization; hotel accommodation of the away team and home team Vietnam as well as the official delegation of the match; rules for spectators who will come to the stadium to cheer for the two teams, including a specific rule on medical safety under the guidance of local health authorities and AFC; the coordination with relevant units in Hanoi city… Along with the report of VFF, representatives: Hanoi Police, Departments of Health and Tourism of Hanoi, representatives of People’s Committees of districts: Cau Giay, Nam Tu Liem, and Dong Da also have reported related to the coordination with VFF. The Hanoi Police’s representative said that security issues continue to be focused, based on the experience of the previous matches of the Vietnam team in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Asian 3rd Qualifier, Hanoi Police has developed specific plans and continue to coordinate with VFF to perform well the task.
Based on the reports of the units, Mr. Do Dinh Hong – Director of Hanoi’s Cultural and Sports Department suggested that VFF and the units continue to work closely to implement well the task of organizing the match, especially the security and safety issues; continue to propagate to the audience to understand the rules, ensure strict implementation of the requirements of the organisation committee and the 5K message of the Ministry of Health (Masks – Disinfection – Distance – Not Concentration – Medical declaration) during the whole time at My Dinh National Stadium.
