VN futsal team up three spots in rankings

Việt Nam defeated Guatemala 4-2 in Group C’s opening match of the FIFA World Cup Futsal on September 12.

With the loss to Việt Nam, Guatemala dropped nine places to world No 33.

Iran are Asia’s top team at No 6 in the world, followed by Japan, No 14, and Thailand, No 15. Việt Nam ranked sixth in the contient.

Brazil topped the world, followed by Spain, Russia and Italy.

Tomorrow morning, Việt Nam will face Paraguay, No 12, in the second match of Group C of the World Cup.
