Referee Ngo Duy Lan was appointed by FIFA to officiate the match in 2026 World Cup Qualifying Round 2
FIFA has sent a letter appointing referee Ngo Duy Lan to participate in the match between Pakistan and Tajikistan, on November 21 in Islamabad (Pakistan), within the framework of World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifier.
Referee Ngo Duy Lan has just completed his duty at the first leg match between Kitchee SC Club (Hong Kong) and Bangkok United Club (Thailand), last October 25 in Hong Kong (China), within the AFC Champion League 2023/24 and will continue to participate in managing the return match taking place on November 8 in Bangkok (Thailand).
Referee Ngo Duy Lan is one of four FIFA referees in Vietnam, and is also a senior referee of the Asian Football Confederation who is regularly appointed to run official tournaments and matches. In 2023, referee Ngo Duy Lan was also appointed to duty at the AFC Cup (August) and Asiad 19 (last September).
