Referee Pham Hoai Tam was added by AFC to the AFC Elite Panel
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) officially added referee Pham Hoai Tam to the AFC Elite Panel from 2022 onwards.

Therefore, Vietnam currently has 10 Elite assistants and referees (including men, women and Futsal). One of the conditions for AFC to recognize that the Elite referee must first be a FIFA referee. Assistant Referee Pham Hoai Tam has been a FIFA referee since 2019; was appointed to a number of international tournaments including: U15 International Football Tournament in Thailand, U19 International in Nha Trang, U21 International in Da Nang and U15 International in Vung Tau. In the domestic tournament, referee Pham Hoai Tam is also on duty at national professional football tournaments.
At the assessor and referee training for the 2022 professional tournaments took place from February 20 to February 23 in Hanoi, referee Pham Hoai Tam participated and completed the FIFA fitness assessment test.
