The Vietnam team entered their first training session in Dalian, China
After arriving at the Kempinski hotel and taking the time to rest and recover, on the evening of October 8, the Vietnam team entered their first training session in Dalian, China.
At this time, the weather in Dalian has a temperature 7 to 10 degrees lower than the weather in Hanoi. Besides, the humidity is also quite low, so it feels chilly. However, this does not affect the activities of coach Philippe Troussier and his team. Besides, changing the sense of the environment also brings excitement to the players.
Although the Vietnam team has been joining forces since October 3, in reality the preparation time for the Vietnam team is very limited, because most of the key players have to wait until the departure date to gather with the team, after completing the obligations with the host club. That is also the reason why coach Philippe Troussier spent a lot of today’s training session to strengthen the playing style he is building for the team, while increasing coordination and cohesion between the parts.
When the training session progressed to the final contents, it suddenly rained quite heavily, causing the temperature to drop and creating a cold feeling. Concerned that his players’ health might be affected, coach Philippe Troussier was forced to finished the training, reminding the entire team to change into warm clothes and return to the hotel.
Tomorrow the team will have a practice session to get acquainted with the Dalian Sports Center stadium, where a friendly match with the host country’s team will take place. Before the training session, coach Philippe Troussier and a player will attend a pre-match press conference.
