The Vietnam women’s team comes to Uzbekistan, preparing for the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup 2024
On the evening of February 22, the U20 Vietnam women’s team landed at Tashkent International Airport, Uzbekistan after more than a day of traveling.

Coach Akira Ijiri and his team’s journey departs at 13:00 Feb 21 from Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi), connecting to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), before continuing to fly to Uzbekistan.
Previously, according to plan, the U20 Vietnam women’s team will land in the capital Tashkent at 4:00 p.m on February 22 (local time). However, because the flight departed later than expected, coach Akira Ijiri and his team’s journey lasted 4 hours longer than expected.
To ensure the health of the athletes, VFF arranged a hotel near Kuala Lumpur airport for the entire team to rest on the evening of February 21.
After arriving in Tashkent, the team will stay at the Moffah Grand hotel, 10 minutes by bus from the airport.
U20 Vietnam women’s team will have two friendly matches with host Uzbekistan on February 24 and February 27 to prepare for the U20 Women’s Asian Cup taking place from March 3, 2024.
