The first day of practice was designed by coach Mai Duc Chung and his assistants for the players to build endurance with complementary exercises to improve their fitness.
Sharing on the first day of training again with the team, new captain Tran Thi Thuy Trang said: “The whole team is in very good spirits right now. There are young players who coming to the team for the first time, but the atmosphere of the whole team is very happy and excited. Everyone has also known each other through tournaments, so in general, there is no feeling of alienation, all are very sociable and happy together.”
“The year 2023 is a busy year for Vietnamese women’s football and Trang is very happy about it. There are many playgrounds, many domestic and foreign tournaments, rubbing and learning a lot will help us gain more professional lessons as well as cultivate more knowledge to prepare for the future. The whole team is ready for new goals and new tournaments, although it will be very difficult and challenging ahead,” Thuy Trang added.
In order to carefully prepare for international missions in 2023, right from the end of 2022, head coach Mai Duc Chung, members of the coaching staff and VFF have made detailed calculations and plans for training activities. Talking about these goals, the Women’s Silver Ball 2023 expressed: “Trang hopes the whole team will unite and achieve success this year. I also hope to stay in shape and maintain good fitness so that the whole team can play well in the upcoming tournaments.”
“Vietnam women’s football is in a period of rejuvenation, the young players are in good shape, tactical techniques are also much better than before. However, the experience as well as the spirit of competition is still weak. There is still plenty of time for them to gain more experience in competition as well as to be more mentally stable. In the future, I firmly believe that they will be able to do it and will do better than their seniors, “said Thuy Trang.
