Training for match commissioner, coordinators, media officers, and security officers for the 2023/24 National Football League tournaments
On the morning of October 16, at the Vietnam Football Federation headquarters, the opening ceremony of the training course for match commissioner, coordinators, media officers, and security officers for the 2023/24 national professional football tournament took place.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan – President of Vietnam Football Federation; Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Vice President of Vietnam Football Federation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VPF Company; Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – General Director of VPF Company, Chairman of the Tournament Organizing Committee, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation, Ms. Ngo Thi Phuong Thao – Director of the VFF’s Competition Organization Department and representatives of class organizing committee members training and 28 match commissioners.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, President of Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized the role of match commissioners in connecting with the match organizers, home club and away team club. “The 2023/24 season is very important, affecting the national team’s participation in the second World Cup qualifying round because the V-League and the team always have a close relationship with each other. Good organisation will help matches take place professionally. Therefore, the sense of responsibility, preparation, and coordination ability of match commissioners with relevant departments such as coordinators, media officers, and security officers need to be further improved; Thereby developing the match quality of Vietnam’s professional football tournaments”, President of Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan noted.
President of Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan also assigned tasks to the team of match commissioners, coordinators, media and security officers, continuing to emphasize the need to be proactive in regularly updating information and knowledge to have suitable solutions.
General Director of VPF Company, Chairman of the Tournament Organizing Committee Nguyen Minh Ngoc said: “This training activity is an annual organization before the season. Match commissioners, coordinators… will learn from the problems that existed last season, update new knowledge to be able to coordinate with relevant departments to run professional football tournaments well.
Participating in the training course were 28 top Vietnamese football match commissioners. VPF will also always have evaluation, screening, and development to improve the quality of match commissioner. We will also assign reasonable assignments to competent match commissioners, ensuring the quality of the match. This year, V.League will change the competition system towards AFC as well as apply VAR. Therefore, the role of match commissioners must be enhanced, with dynamism and flexibility as well as coordination with the match organizing committee and referee assessors to synchronize operations.”
The training course for match commissioners, coordinators, media officers, and security officers for the 2023/24 national professional football tournament will take place in 3 days, before the 2023/24 season, which kicks off in next October 20.
