Training for the 2023/24 professional season (South): 100% of referees completed the fitness test
On the morning of October 15, at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC), the referees of the training course preparing for the 2023/24 national professional season in the Southern region participated in a physical fitness test. As a result, 100% of referees passed the test according to FIFA standards.

Accordingly, this morning’s fitness test had 57 people, including: 11 national championship referees, 14 national championship assistant referees, 14 national football referees and 18 national football assistant referees, under the supervision of instructors Dang Thanh Ha, Vo Quang Vinh and Vo Minh Tri.
After the fitness test, the referees continued the theoretical learning content and tests at VFF. The referee and referee assessor training program for the 2023/24 national professional football tournament in the southern region will continue in the next 3 days with professional content, updated competition rules, withdrawals, and experience and group discussion, before closing on October 18. Referees who have passed the test must continue to complete theory tests to be ready to take on duties in the new 2023/24 season when V.league will officially kick off on Oct 20.
