U20 National Futsal Championship 2026 kicks off
Today (18 August), the U20 National Futsal Championship 2026 officially kicked off at the Futsal Club Gymnasium in Chanh Hung Ward (Ho Chi Minh City), with the participation of eight teams. This marks the fourth edition of the tournament, which continues to provide an important platform for young futsal players.

The eight participating teams are Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM, Tân Hiệp Hưng TP.HCM, Xạ Warriors, An Phú, Thái Sơn Bắc, Sài Gòn Titans, Life Sport and Sahako, which have been divided into two groups. Group A features Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM, Tân Hiệp Hưng TP.HCM, Xạ Warriors and An Phú, while Group B consists of Thái Sơn Bắc, Sài Gòn Titans, Life Sport and Sahako.
In the group stage, the teams will play a single round-robin format to determine the standings, which will be used to establish the matchups for the classification rounds and semi-finals. Following the group stage, the teams will compete in the classification matches, semi-finals, third-place playoff and final.
On the opening day of the tournament today, Life Sport will face Sài Gòn Titans in the opening match at 11:00. This will be followed by the match between Thái Sơn Bắc and Sahako at 13:30.
The remaining two matches will take place in the afternoon. At 16:00, Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM will take on Xạ Warriors, before An Phú meet Tân Hiệp Hưng TP.HCM at 18:30.
The matches are expected to deliver exciting competition while providing young players with valuable opportunities to gain match experience, test themselves and showcase their abilities in a competitive environment.
The U20 National Futsal Championship 2026 will take place from 18 to 27 August, contributing to the development of a regular competitive environment for young players. The tournament will help them accumulate experience, improve their technical abilities and competitive mentality, and gradually build a strong generation of players for the future of Vietnamese futsal.
All matches of the tournament will be broadcast live on the FPT Play ecosystem and the media platforms of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
