U23 player Ho Thanh Minh award Merit of Committee for Ethnic Affairs
With the achievement of contributing to the victory of the U23 Vietnam team in the match against U23 Myanmar, thereby winning tickets to the final round of the U23 Asian Cup 2023, player Ho Thanh Minh is awarded the Committee’s Minister Ethnicity The Government’s merit and rewards on the afternoon of November 12 at VFF’s house.

On behalf of the Committee for Ethnic Affairs, Mrs. Hoang Thi Hanh – Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman of the Committee; Mr. Hoang Xuan Luong – Former Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman of the Committee, Standing Committee of Olympic Vietnam awarded the Merit and reward to Ho Thanh Minh. The meeting also had representatives of the Office of National Target Program, Department of Policy, Department of Organization and Personnel, and Office of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities.
Mrs. Hoang Thi Hanh emphasized: “The victory of U23 Vietnam in this qualifier round brought happiness to Vietnam’s fans. We are proud of you guys who contributed to the success of the team, in which there was Ho Thanh Minh who is from the Ta Oi ethnic group. Ho Thanh Minh luckily has the guidance of coaches. Committee for Ethnic Affairs hopes Ho Thanh Minh will continue to make an effort to improve Vietnamese sports. Hope that Ho Thanh Minh, the pride not only of his family but also of 53 ethnic minorities, will be a model for young people to follow to constantly strive and dedicate to the community. With the spirit of not being complacent, with the guidance of coaches and friends, he continues to strive, worthy of everyone’s trust. The Committee for Ethnic Affairs also hopes that ethnic minority areas, not only football but also other sports, will receive attention and create a good environment for children to develop.
On behalf of VFF, General Secretary Le Hoai Anh thanked the Committee for Ethnic Affairs. “Recently, VFF, as well as players, always receive the attention of authorities. Ho Thanh Minh is from Thua Thien Hua City where has a good development grassroots. Ho Thanh Minh is a member of Thua Thien Hue’s division 1 club, used to play in the U19 National Championship. In the U23 Asian Cup Qualifier in October, Ho Thanh Minh joined with U23 Vietnam and was a person who brought the only goal for the Vietnam team in the match U23 Myanmar. The encouragement of the Committee for Ethnic Affairs is a big support for him. Hope that Ho Thanh Minh will be a good model for ethnic athletes, not only in football but also in other sports, to continue trying for the pride of our country”.
