VFF and SAFF signed a joint cooperation agreement to develop football
On the afternoon of Sep 02, at the headquarters of the SAFF in Riyadh, Vietnam Football Federation signed a joint cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia Football Federation. In the meeting, there were Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan – VFF Vice Permanent President and Mr. Yasser bin Hassan Al-Misehal – SAFF President accompanied by Mr. Ibrahim Alkassim – SAFF General Secretary.
In the meeting, SAFF congratulated Vietnam National Day and welcome Vietnam’s team to play with Saudi Arabia’s team in the final round of FIFA World Cup 2022. Mr. Yasser bin Hassan Al-Misehal hopes that both teams will have a good game in tonight’s match.
On behalf of VFF, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan thanked the friendly welcome of SAFF and transfer the thanks letter of VFF President Le Khanh Hai to SAFF President. In the letter, VFF President Le Khanh Hai thanked SAFF for the condition of Vietnam’s team while playing in Saudi Arabia, especially for the setting of a special craft for the team from Doha to Riyadh, as well as the support to the team.
During the meeting, a joint cooperation agreement was signed with the Vietnam Football Association, through which experiences will be exchanged to serve the two federations.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between the Saudi and Vietnamese federations and enhancing them during the coming period, and the efforts of the SAFF to strengthen its relations with federations in Asia to serve football in the continent.
