VFF and the Criminal Police Department signed the Regulation on cooperation in preventing and fighting crime and law violations in football
On the afternoon of June 14, at the headquarters of the VFF, the signing ceremony of the Coordination Regulations on the prevention and control of crime and law violations in football took place between the VFF and the Criminal Police Department. The signing of the Coordination Regulations is the basis for strengthening the cooperation relationship between the Criminal Police Department (C02) – the Ministry of Public Security and the VFF with the goal of promoting education, fighting towards the elimination of crimes that has a negative impact on the development of Vietnamese football.
For many years, the VFF and the Criminal Police Department – the Ministry of Public Security have closely coordinated in the prevention of negativity, ensuring security and safety at football activities managed by the VFF, thereby making an important contribution in the effort to build a sustainable football field, creating a healthy, competitive and dedicated playing field, contributing to enriching the spiritual of audiences in Vietnam and abroad.
The signing of the Regulation on coordination between the VFF and the Criminal Police Department – the Ministry of Public Security this time is considered to create an important step forward for the cooperation between the two sides, especially in strengthening the unity in the field of directing and strengthening responsibility and efficiency in performing tasks of preventing and combating crimes and violations of the law on social order in football activities.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan – President of the Vietnam Football Federation emphasized: “Football is a sport of great social significance, loved and supported by the people of the whole country, especially when the teams are involved. The Vietnamese football team has won outstanding achievements in the international arena. However, in parallel with the attention and support of society, football activities also have many potential risks of insecurity, safety and are an environment for domestic and international criminals to carry out their law violations. Therefore, it can be said that the recent success of Vietnamese football could not have been achieved without the participation in the prevention and drastic fight against crime and law violations in the football field of the departments and units, especially the main role of the Criminal Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security during recent years”.
From the positive results achieved in the coordination between the VFF and the Criminal Police Department – the Ministry of Public Security over the past time, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan believes that the signing of this Regulation on coordination between the two units will further promote and improve the effectiveness of the fight against crime and law violations in football, on the basis of being proactive and highly unified in directing and implementing relevant contents.
Agreeing with the President of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan, Lieutenant General Tran Ngoc Ha – Director of the Criminal Police Department also affirmed the importance of proactively building, organizing and effectively implementing thematic topics, plans and solutions to prevent, fight and handle crimes and related violations of social order in football activities, thereby creating a clean environment for the development of Vietnamese football as well as strengthen the trust of the fans.
