VFF Executive Committee approved the plan to continue to organize the National Professional Tournament in 2021
On Aug 06, the VFF Executive Committee agreed with Resolution No. 228/NQ-BCHLĐBĐVN on the plan to continuedly organize the national professional tournament in 2021.
07/08/2021 22:26:41According to that, the tournaments will come back from 20th Nov 2021 and finish on 18th Mar 2022:
1) LS V.League 2 – 2021:
– 20th Nov 2021: Come back with round 7 – 1st period;
– 16th Dec 2021: Finish the 1st period;
– From 20th Dec 2021 to 14th Jan 2022: compete to find out group A and B, then finish the 2nd period (Complete the tournament).
2) LS V.League 1 -2021:
– 12th Feb 2022: Come back with round 13 – 1st period;
– From 16th Feb 2022 to 12th Mar 2022: compete to find out group A and B, then finish the 2nd period (Complete the tournament).
3) Bamboo Airway National Cup 2021:
– 17th Jan 2022: Round of 16
– 8th Feb 2022: Quarter-final
– From 15th Mar to 18th Mar 2022: Semis and Final
The promotion and relegation also adjusted as below:
– LS V.League 1 -2021: 1 team will be relegated
– LS V.League 2 – 2021: 1 team will be promoted and 1 team will be relegated
The schedule was being planned to fit with the action plan of Vietnamese Football in the later 2021 and 2022. This decision was approved after a careful discussion of the committee forwarding to the stable development of Vietnamese Football, clubs, member association, and relevant partners. Besides that, the players will have an environment to play and maintain their performance and skill. Thereby, become the source for national teams in the important mission of 2022 such as SEA Games, AFC U23 Asian Cup, AFF Cup 2022, etc.
VFF Executive Committee understood the difficulties of clubs due to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic and affirmed that the committee always follows and adjusts the plan to have the best solution.
