VFF President sent a letter of condolences to Diego Maradona’s family
Hearing about the passing of Mr. Diego Armando Maradona – a football legend of Argentina and the World, Mr. Lê Khánh Hải – Vice Chairman of the Office of President, VFF President sent a letter of condolences to his family through Argentina Embassy.
“We are sorely grieved to learn of the passing of Mr. Diego Armando Maradona – football legend of Argentina and the World.
This is a very sad moment for all Argentines and for our football, On behalf of Vietnam Football Federation, I would like to express the deepest condolences as well as the heartfelt and untied sympathies to your country at the loss of one of the greartest football players that the world have ever seen.
He was a truly gifted player, who brought the Argentine national team to the World Cup title in 1986 in Mexico. He has left us, but Maradona will alway be in the hearts of football fans around the World.
Vietnam Football Federation wishes to share with Maradona’s family and your country for this irreplaceable loss and our prayers are with Argentina during this period of mourning…”
