VFF responds to AFC Grassroots Football Day 2023
In response to the AFC Grassroots Football Day 2023, this afternoon (May 19), at SOS Children’s Village Hanoi, some sport activities took place, organized by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

Attending the event were Mr. Luu Quang Dien Bien – Chairman of VFF Grassroots, Coaching Education and Affiliated MAs; former national female player Do Thi Ngoc Cham; former national player Pham Thanh Luong; Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh – Director of Hanoi SOS Children’s Village.
With the guidance of former players Do Thi Ngoc Cham and Pham Thanh Luong, more than 120 “young players” of various ages have actively participated in football games, thereby helping them to have a rewarding experience.
During the activities in response to the AFC Grassroots Football Day 2023, the children were really immersed in the ball, showing their skills and passion with the ball. The football exchange is not only for the community, but also to spread passions and dreams to partially remove the barriers and disadvantages of the children to gain valuable lessons in life such as: self-discipline, teamwork, social integration and adaptation to their independence in the future.
Also at the festival, the VFF representative presented 120 sets of clothes and sports training equipment, especially football, to the children here.
