Head coach Hoang Anh Tuan. “The VFF’s Standing Committee shares with the difficulties of the coaching staffs when there are not enough players because some of them are stuck with the schedule in national tournaments. This is also a common difficulty of countries in the region. It is important that the VFF also soon had a solution to help the team get the best, especially creating opportunities for young players in the U18-U20 age group to compete and have a continuous accumulation of expertise towards future goals. With that in mind, at the upcoming AFF U23 Championship, the team will not be under pressure for achievements, but the coaching staff and the players themselves must always set the highest goals to create motivation. The Leader and VFF have been making huge investments in young teams, from nutrition, activities, equipment and training conditions to overseas training plans. Therefore, your task is to focus on professional development as much as possible, striving to regularly reach the top of the leading teams when participating in the continental arena. That’s the best way for us to aim for the World Cup in the future,” emphasized VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan.

Mr. Tran Anh Tu hopes that through this tournament, many young faces will have the opportunity to shine to contribute to creating an abundant source of succession for the national team.
