Vietnam National team donates 300 million VND to Vietnam Prevention of COVID-19 vaccine Fund
In response to the inspiring call of the Government to bring the vaccine COVID-19 to all the people, Vietnam national team donated 300 million VND to the Vietnam Prevention of COVID-19 vaccine Fund.
On behalf of the team, head coach Park Hang-seo thanked Government and fans who always support the team during difficult and challenging times. He believes that under the guidance of the Government, the Vietnamese spirit will be expanded against the COVID-19 pandemic.
On behalf of the players, captain Que Ngoc Hai wishes good health to the spectators. “Before traveling to UAE and joining into the FIFA World Cup 2022 Asian Qualifier, we are lucky to inoculate COVID-19 vaccine according to the priority campaign of Government. I and my team understand the meaning of vaccination. Being a part of the campaign to fight the pandemic is an honor of each team member. We promise to keep working hard in this competition”.
10 p.m (GMT+7) on 8th Jun, the team comes back to the training and prepares for the match with Malaysia, which will kick off on 11th Jun. After winning 4-0 over Indonesia, Vietnam national team stayed ahead in group G. The team set the target to keep the advantage in this round to get the ticket to join the final Asian qualifier of World Cup 2022.
