On October 8, Vietnam National Team will leave for China to play two international friendly matches on FIFA Days in October, meeting China National Team on October 10 and Uzbekistan National Team on October 13, respectively. At the end of the competition in China, the team will move to Korea to play the final friendly match during FIFA Days in October, against the Korean national team on October 17.
The 3 quality matches on the occasion of FIFA Days in October 2023 mentioned above are also the final preparation step of the Vietnam National Team before officially joining the race in the second qualifying round of FIFA World Cup 2026 in Asia, starting next November.
