Vietnam Women’s Futsal Team departs for Myanmar to compete in the 2025 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship qualifiers
After more than a month of training, on the afternoon of January 13, the Vietnam Women’s Futsal Team departed for Myanmar to participate in the 2025 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship qualifiers.

The list of players announced by the Vietnam Women’s Futsal Team to participate in the Asian qualifiers includes 14 athletes, including 2 goalkeepers: Trần Thị Hải Yến and Ngô Nguyễn Thuỳ Linh, and 10 players: Bùi Thị Trang, Trịnh Nguyễn Thanh Hằng, Lê Thị Thanh Ngân, Nguyễn Phương Anh, Trần Nguyệt Vi, Nguyễn Thị Vân Anh, K’ Thủa, Trần Thị Thuỳ Trang, Trần Thị Lan Mai, Trần Thị Thu Xuân, Nguyễn Thị Tú Anh, and Biện Thị Hằng.
Head coach Nguyễn Đình Hoàng affirmed that the Vietnam Women’s Futsal Team’s goal is not only to advance past the qualifiers but also to aim for the top position in the group. “We assess that the opponents in our group are not significantly superior to our team, so both I and the entire team are determined to achieve the set goal,” Coach Nguyễn Đình Hoàng said.
In the 2025 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship qualifiers, which will take place from January 15 to January 19, the Vietnam Women’s Futsal Team is in the same group as Macau (China), Chinese Taipei, and hosts Myanmar. Coach Nguyễn Đình Hoàng and his team will face Myanmar, Macau (China), and Chinese Taipei on January 15, 17, and 19, 2025, respectively.
