Vietnam women’s U20 team arrives in Phu Tho
On May 28, the coaching assistants and Vietnam women’s U20 players were present at the Phu Tho Provincial Convention Center to prepare for the 2nd Qualifier of the 2024 AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup taking place from 3 June to 11 June.

In this qualifying, coach Akira Ijiri brought with him the players who are in the best form with the core of the players who have passed the first qualifying round also at Viet Tri Stadium such as: Captain Bao Tram, striker Minh Chuyen, Hong Cham, Thi Thuy…
To prepare for the second qualifying round, the Vietnam U20 women’s team had 11 days of training in Japan. Coach Akira Ijiri’s players had three friendly matches against Seisa Academy, JFA Fukusima Academy and Tokyo High School. This is a valuable experience, helping the young players of U20 Vietnam to accumulate experience and make great professional progress.
As planned, team of coach Akira Ijiri will maintain a practice schedule of 2 sessions/day at the Sports Complex of Phu Tho province before entering the opening match against Iran U20 women at 7pm on June 3 at Viet Tri Stadium.
