National team train in HCM City

The national football squad will congregate on Thursday at Thanh Long Sports Centre in HCM City for three days of training before leaving on a 17-day tour of Austria.

In Austria, they will play four or five matches against local teams. After returning to Viet Nam they will complete preparations for the Agribank Cup, which starts in Ha Noi on October 26.

After the Agribank Cup, coach Alfred Riedl will pick the final squad to compete in the SEA Games in the Philippines this November.
