According to the information from the VFF delegation in Singapore, at 10.30 this morning (20/7), VFF had completed the contract of inviting the Olympic Team of Brazil to participate in the friendly match against the National Team of Vietnam at 20.00 on 1stAugust, 2008 at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi.

The contract pre-signing to confirm the attendance of the Olympic Team of Brazil was implemented at 4 A.m Sunday on 20 July 2008 in Singapore. And at 10.30 Am in the same day, the contract signing to officially confirm the attendance of the Olympic Team of Brazil was implemented at Inter Continental Hotel – Singapore under the witness of Mr nguyen Trung Thanh – Ambassador of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Singapore. Mr Le Hung Dung – Vice President of VFF and Mr Sidi Airouss – President of Match World Football SA, appointed agent of CBF represented the two sides to officially sign the contract to confirm the attendance of the Olympic Team of Brazil in the friendly match against the National Team of Vietnam.
Durring the negotiation process, the two sides gradually agreed with each other about the provisions of the contract, the basic conditions in order to invite the Olympic Team of Brazil were respected. Vietnam Football Federation highly appreciates the affort of Match World SA and ISE – the stakeholder of commercial rights of matches having the attendance of Brazil Team in the successful conection of the programme of the friendly match between Brazil andVietnam in a short time and positive actions during the process of the contract negotiation.
VFF and the match organising partners confirm that CBF will nominate the official team who will participate in Olympic Beijing 2008 to Vietnam and the match against Vietnam is the final preparation of the Olympic Team of Brazil for the challenge of the championship in Olympic Beijing 2008.
The Match will certainly bring Vietnamese football fans unforgetable time as being able to watch the world’s football stars as well as to show the great support for the National Team of Vietnam.
Vietnam Football Federation would like to give a great thanks to Leaders at different levels, local and governmental institutions, diplomatic institutions, mass media, supporters for the consideration of the contract’s negotiation process. Besides, VFF hopes that this event will be one important point to partially enhance the friendship and co-operation relation in many aspects between the two countries Vietnam and Brazil, especially after the working visit to Vietnam of Sir Luis Inácio Lula Da Silva – Brazil President in early July, 2008.
