Women’s Nation Team gathers and forward to important missions in 2022
On the afternoon of March 27, the Women’s National Team had the first training session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre. On the first day of gathering, the atmosphere of the whole team was extremely excited, looking forward to important mission in 2022.

All 31 players on the list were fully present at La Thanh hotel in the morning of March 27. Before moving to the training ground at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre, the Women’s National Team took advantage of a meeting with the entire team and conducted a health check. In general, in addition to waiting for Covid test results, the health status of team members is stable and happy to see each other again after more than a month of rest.

As usual, head coach Mai Duc Chung and his assistants spent a short talk with the players on the field before the training session. In addition to reminding the players to keep the rules, head coach Mai Duc Chung did not forget to remind the players to pay attention to their health and ensure maximum safety for team members before going to training as well as entering the game. Professionally, head coach Mai Duc Chung also encourages the young players to continue to strive, following the senior players, improve their skill, and show their full ability in the training session.

The first training session of the Women’s National Team took place in a fun and exciting atmosphere. The cool weather conditions in Hanoi are also ideal and favor the female players. All the players urgently entered the training content with the spirit of focus, optimism and solidarity. After more than a month of rest, the coaching assistants wants the players to start immediately with physical exercises and will definitely gradually increase the difficulty to soon improve before moving on to technical and tactical issues.

According to the plan, to prepare for the nearest goal, the 31st SEA Games, which will take place in May 2022, the Women’s National Team will be trained at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre for 2 weeks. From April 6, at the invitation of the Korean Football Federation, the team will have a training camp and play a friendly match with the Korean Women’s team. Also in this training session, the Vietnamese women’s team will have 3 more friendly matches with 3 top women’s clubs in Korea.
At the end of the foreign training camp, head coach Mai Duc Chung’s team will return to Vietnam on April 21 and be present in Cam Pha city to complete the final preparation before entering the SEA Games.
