Hoang Van Phuc managing Vietnam team to participate in Asian Cup 2015 – Qualifiers

Vietnam Football Federation has appointed Mr.Hoang Van Phuc as the Head Coach of Vietnam National football team to manage the team to participate in 2 qualified matches in Asian Cup 2015 ( against UAE on 6 February and Hongkong on 22 March).

Coach Hoang Van Phuc (born in 1964) is currently the Head Coach of Hanoi Football Club. In his coaching career, he is known as a Coach who has gained many achievements for youth teams both in region and continent.

Considering Asian Cup 2015 as a big game and an important implication for Vietnam football, Coach Phuc has selected many familiar players for the first squad who had good performance at AFF Suzuki Cup 2012. Besides, in order to bring fresh blood into team in the new period, Mr. Phuc also puts his faith in the promising players who has shown their abilities under U22 national team.

Coach Hoang Van Phuc stated that, door to National team is wide open for young talents as well as players with good performance who has desire to contribute to the team and the homeland. Therefore, there will be changes in the team formation during  Asian Cup 2015- Qualifiers.

On 6 February, Vietnam National team will play against UAE National team at My Dinh National Stadium in the first match of Asian Cup 2015- Qualification round. Earlier, National team will play a training match with Cement Vicem Hai Phong FC at Lach Tray Stadium on 26 January and with Hanoi T&T FC at Hang Day Stadium on 28 January 2013. On 31 January, Coach Hoang Van Phuc and his team will play a friendly match with Huyndai Mipo Dolphine FC (KFA) at Hang Day Stadium.
