FIFA will prioritize supporting two more VAR vehicles for Vietnamese football

At the meeting, Mr. Kenny Jean Marie said that FIFA appreciates that the VFF has focused on investing in and effective preparation for women’s football, specifically the Vietnam women’s football team participating in the FIFA Women’s Cup 2023. Mr. Kenny Jean-Marie congratulated the Vietnam women’s team on their progress, despite participating in the tournament for the first time, and said FIFA is committed to continuing to provide effective support to Vietnam women’s football, looking forward to the next World Cup.
Mr. Kenny Jean-Marie also congratulated Vietnam football on receiving FIFA’s approval to apply the VAR system in the V.League. In addition, FIFA will prioritize supporting 2 more VAR vehicles for Vietnamese football, currently, Vietnamese football has 2 VAR vehicles from the self-mobilized capital of the VFF. Accordingly, FIFA will create conditions for the VFF to complete the prescribed procedures and soon complete the VAR system in Vietnam.
