Football players from Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam are expected to compete at the first international U-21 tournament 2007, which will take place in central Nha Trang city from Oct. 24-28. 

The information was released at a press conference in Nha Trang city on October 23 in the presence of more than 80 media workers. 

The tournament, sponsored by Thanh Nien (Youth) newspaper, will be held on a round robin basis. 

On the opening day of the tournament, Vietnam will meet Myanmar while Thailand will play against Singapore. 

The winner of the tournament will be awarded US$8,000, and the first and second runners-up will receive US$5,000 and US$3,000, respectively. 

Prizes will also be presented to the best goalkeeper, the best player, the most stylish performance and the striker who makes the highest number of scores.
