Friendly match: Vietnam women’s team vs U23 Poland women’s team: 1-2
At 11:00 this afternoon (June 19, local time), the Vietnam women’s team had a friendly match with U23 Poland women’s team at Znicz Pruszków Stadium. Despite playing hard, but with a physical disadvantage, coach Mai Duc Chung’s team lost with a result of 1-2.
The first 15 minutes of the match, the team actively accelerated the speech, constantly approaching and stealing the ball in the feet of our players. Many dangerous situations were created but all were successfully saved by goalkeeper Kim Thanh.
Minutes later, coach Mai Duc Chung’s t gradually regained the game. In the 21st minute, the Vietnam women’s team launched a quick counterattack, Thu Thao crossed from the edge, unfortunately the ball could not pass the tall defense of the U23 Polish women’s team. In the 23rd minute, the player number 10 Magdalena Sobal went down the right sideline in the 16m50 area, accurately finishing the goal to open the scoring for the home team.
After conceded the goal, the Vietnam women’s team rose to attack. In the 26th minute, from the coordination phase with Hai Yen, Huynh Nhu hit the back of the defender’s leg, leading to the first corner for Vietnam, but the ball was not successful. In the 32nd minute, after the situation of attacking, captain Huynh Nhu was hurt and could not continue the match, Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang was launched into the field.
In the last minutes of the half, the Vietnam women’s team continuously created quick attacks towards the opponent’s goal but could not penetrate the home team’s solid defense. The first half ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of the Polish U23 women’s team.
Entering the second half, coach Mai Duc Chung sent Khong Thi Hang to replace goalkeeper Kim Thanh. This goalkeeper then successfully blocked the striker’s shot from the Polish U23 side. However, in the 58th minute, Khong Thi Hang had to go into the net to pick up the ball when captain Gabriela Grzybowska accurately finished on the penalty spot, making the score of 2-0 for the home team. With the goal of testing positions, within 2 minutes, coach Mai Duc Chung made 5 adjustments when launching Thai Thi Thao, Ngan Thi Van Su, Tran Thi Hai Linh, Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha, Vu. Thi Hoa replaced Duong Thi Van, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung, Luong Thi Thu Thuong, Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy and Nguyen Hai Yen.
In the 74th minute, Vu Thi Hoa took the ball down to the 16m50 area, crossed the ball inside, unfortunately the ball went too light. In the 77th minute, My Anh crossed the ball for Thuy Hang to dispute the header to bring the ball to the opponent’s field. Towards the end of the game, some chances were also created but no more goals were scored. The match ended with a score of 2-1 for the Polish women’s U23 home team.
