Futsal National Team has gathered and prepared for the AFC Futsal Championship 2020
On the morning of Nov 30, the Futsal National Team gathered at Thái Sơn Nam Arena (8 District, HCM City) to prepare for the AFC Futsal Championship 2020.
As the latest news, at the meeting of AFC Futsal and Soccer Beach Committee on Nov 10, AFC announced the updated schedule of AFC Futsal Championship 2020. Hence, after a long-term postponed due to the fast-changing of Covid-19, the tournament will kick-off from Mar 23 to Apr 3 2021 in Kuwait. Attending the meeting, Mr. Trần Anh Tú – VFF Executive Committee’s Member said that the AFC Futsal Championship 2020 will be the qualifier round of FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021, therefore AFC determined to organize a successful tournament. AFC also established a Prevention of Covid-19 department at the AFC Futsal Championship 2020.
About Vietnam Futsal National Team, with the aims of joining into the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021, just 4 days after the Futsal HDBank National Cuo 2020, the team gathered with 21 players.
According to the plan, the team will practice from Nov 30 to Dec 20, 2020. This is the second camp of the team in 2020. Before that, in Jan, the team had a training camp at Spanish.
At AFC Futsal Championship 2020, Vietnam stands in the same group with Turkmenistan, Oman, and Tajikistan.
