Head coach Park Hang-seo wants players to thing about the big thing in the match with UAE
At 11:45 p.m (GMT+7) on Jun 15th, Vietnam national team will have the last match at Group G – World Cup 2022 Asian Qualifier. The team needs at least 1 point to stay ahead and move into the 3rd qualifier round. However, head coach Park Hang-seo doesn’t want his players satisfied only with a draw.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, head coach Park Hang-seo said that “UAE is a top team of group G. At the first leg, we won 1-0 however the situation now is very different. Their tactics have moved to one more level. Tomorrow’s match is really hard. I don’t want players thing that only needs to draw with UAE to maintain the Top 1”.
Defender Do Duy Manh:
“The match with host UAE is the final match of the 2nd qualifier. We understand how difficult the game, but we will follow the tactics of coaching assistants and encourage ourselves to fight against the opponent. Before any match, we prepare carefully both mentally and physically”.
“Not only player, but all members also miss family. This is the last match so we will concentrate, then come back with family. a Home is a sacred place. Even miss family, but we also need to concern into the match”.
