Head coach Pham Minh Giang: “Futsal team will try to join in the Round of 16 FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021”
The team’s target at the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021 was agreed upon by all members. The team will try to pass the Group stage and get the chance to join in the Round of 16.

Head coach Pham Minh Giang
After 20 days of training in Ho Chi Minh City, on the morning of Aug 12, Vietnam Futsal Team traveled to Hanoi. Head coach Pham Minh Giang stated that the coaching assistants has led the team did the tactics sessions. And he was satisfied with the result.
During the next period in Hanoi, head coach Pham Minh Giang and coaching assistants will also focus on attacking tactics and defending skills. Mr. Pham Minh Giang also stated that he will cut five players before traveling to Spain on Aug 25.
In this competition, Vietnam is in the Group with Brazil, Czech Republic, and Panama. As the draw result, the team will meet Brazil on Sep 13, then has the next matches with Panama on Sep 16, and the Czech Republic on Sep 19.

Player Tran Van Vu said that after qualified for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021, he had a rest time before the gathering, and through the recent training period, he reached 70-80% physical target. The performance of the team is good, and all determine to play in this competition.
“We had a Spanish fitness coach. He has many experiences. In this time, we will try to gain strength and improve speech. Our target is maintaining the achievement of 2016 to join in Round of 16. All members are working hard during each session. I believe that we can do it”.
