VIETNAM CROWNED ASEAN GIRLS CHAMPIONS
Hosts Vietnam clinched their second AFC U-14 Girls’ Regional Championship for the ASEAN zone title after downing Thailand 2-1 on Sunday.
Their No10 player Nguyen Thi Thu Hien won the Most Valuable Player award while two of Thailand’s players Amarawadee Phukhao and Porntip Thongwijit became Top Scorers, with Myanmar winning third place and adjudged the Fair Play team.
