It was he who inspired the leadership to bring Vietnamese football into history ever since. I think that with his humility, his way of spreading spirit, and his scientific tactics, will be valuable experience for Vietnamese football players. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will direct the specialized agency to study the results coach Park has left, how to inherit and promote in the training of the next generation of players. We also hope that, as he said, even though he is no longer the head coach, he will still be an active fan and a companion to Vietnamese football to contribute Vietnamese football in the coming time. Behind the successful results that he has achieved with Vietnamese football, there are still many difficulties that we are trying to overcome. The ministry also proposed to the Party and Government to issue a project to develop Vietnamese football in the new period. With that strategy, there is a methodical way to develop in a fundamental way, going in the right direction. This work is underway and we look forward to receiving your valuable ideal for contributions.”
For his part, coach Park Hang-seo said: “During the 5 years I have been with Vietnamese football, I have always worked hard and tried to achieve the best results. However, it is also inevitable that there are shortcomings. But every time there was such a problem, the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as the leaders of VFF helped me a lot to overcome, step by step focusing on the matches. Actually, it is not easy for a Korean to come to another country like Vietnam to be able to live and work smoothly. But thanks to the help of the Ministry and VFF, I have had favorable conditions during my 5 years of working. In addition, it is impossible not to mention the support of Vietnamese football fans. I regret not being able to have a higher achievement of Vietnamese football. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Vietnamese football clubs for sending us great players to contribute to the national team and the national U23 team, to the players for their hard work, to the coaching staff, to the assistants. Vietnamese and Korean people have always been with me and given many initiatives to achieve this success. 5 years have come to an end, my memories with the players I will never forget. I want to say the last word: I am Park Hang Seo – head coach of the Vietnam national team! Thank you very much, I love Vietnam”.
