Leaders of VFF meet and encourage Vietnam Futsal Team
In the afternoon of Aug 16, leaders of VFF met and encouraged Vietnam Futsal Team who are preparing for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021. Engaged in the meeting, there were Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan – VFF Vice Permanent President, Member of the VFF Executive Committee; Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Member of the VFF Executive Committee, head of the futsal delegation.
17/08/2021 16:51:51In the meeting, head coach Pham Minh Giang reported the preparation of the team in the training period in Ho Chi Minh City as well as Hanoi. He also thanked the support of VFF to create the best training condition for the team. Besides that, head coach Pham Minh Giang reported the coming plan when the team comes to Spain.
After Sep 03, the futsal team will go to Lithuania to complete the final step of preparation for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021.
Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan – VFF Vice Permanent President, Member of the VFF Executive Committee appreciated the spirit of the team, especially while joining in this competition twice.
Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan said that: “We had 2 successful matches in the play-off with Lebanon. Joining the World Cup is an honor, it shows the potential, unity, and determination of the team. Recently, the leaders were very concerned and supported the team. Next, the team will have matches with quality teams. I hope you will gain more valuable experiences forward to the journey in Lithuania”.
In FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021, the Vietnam Futsal team is in the group with Brazil, Czech Republic, and Panama.
Captain Tran Van Vu stated that the team will determine to get the best result. “On behalf of the team, I would like to thank the support of VFF. Even having many difficulties and challenges, we will unity and do our best in all matches”.
