National Women’s Football League – Thai Son Bac Cup 2026: Ready for a New Season

The opening ceremony of the National Women’s Football League – Thai Son Bac Cup 2026 will take place at Thai Nguyen Stadium on 20 June
According to a representative of the Competition Department and a member of the Organising Committee, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) is working closely and intensively with local authorities and participating clubs to finalise the remaining preparations in terms of facilities, match operations, security, medical services and communications, ensuring the best possible conditions for the opening day as well as the entire season.

Allowing clubs to host matches at their home venues not only helps bring women’s football closer to local fans but also enhances the role and responsibility of host clubs in organising the competition. In this model, local coordinators play a key role, serving as the link between the Organising Committee, clubs and relevant authorities to ensure that matches are delivered in a coordinated, professional and safe manner.
This season also receives support from FIFA through the FIFA League Development Programme, which provides assistance in competition management, communications and operational capacity building. FIFA’s support, together with the active cooperation of local stakeholders, forms an important foundation for the National Women’s Football League – Thai Son Bac Cup 2026 as it enters a new season with high expectations for both sporting quality and organisational standards.
