Open the training program to learn from experiences in the mid-season on the working of assistants and referees work of the Professional National Football Championship 2020
On the afternoon of 6th Sep, the opening ceremony of the training program to learn from experiences in the mid-season on the working of assistants and referees work of the Professional National Football Championship 2020 was held at VFF’s office.

Different from previous years, due to the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic, the plan of this program was changed to suitable with the real situation, to reduce the risks, and ensure the prevention of Covid-19. Thereby, after finishing the 1st period of the program, the 2nd period will be held at HCM City from 19th Sep to 23rd Sep. Both periods have the same contents which were approved by VFF’s Referee Committee. According to that, besides the compulsory physical test, referees also need to do a test about the laws of the game 2020/2021, as well as join in a discussion to learn from experiences about the match officiation.
A new point is at this program, referees and assistants will discuss on the field, instead of through a video. Once only pass the tests can work at the 2nd period of the Professional National Football Championship 2020.
On behalf of VFF, Mr. Trần Anh Tú – Permanent Member of the VFF Committee stated the limitations need to fix in the last period.
Based on the evaluations and predictions about the importance of the coming matches, Mr. Trần Anh Tú asked the program to detailly adjust the mistakes to avoid the repetition which affects the match’s result.
On behalf of the program organizer, VFF General Secretary Lê Hoài Anh thanked the opinions of the VFF Permanent Committee about the program and affirmed that the organizer will focus and proactive to create a favorable condition for the match’s organization in the next period as well as season 2021.
