Opening ceremony of the AFC/VFF ‘B’ Certificate Coaching Course – Module 1
On the morning of February 17, 2025, the AFC/VFF ‘B’ Certificate Coaching Course – Module 1 was held at the Nam Dinh Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Mai Anh Hoàng – Deputy Chairman of the VFF’s Grassroots, Coaching Education and Affiliated MAs, and a member of the organizing committee; Mr. Takeshi Koshida – Technical Director of VFF, Instructor; Mr. Lê Huỳnh Đức – Member of the National Coaching Council, Instructor; and Mr. Trần Đức Toản – Instructor. From Nam Dinh province, there was Mr. Nguyễn Tân Anh – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Nam Dinh Province, and Mr. Đỗ Đình Điểm – Director of the Nam Dinh Sports Training and Competition Center, along with all 24 participants from various football clubs, training centers, and sports centers.
As part of the 2025 work plan, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has partnered with the Nam Dinh Sports Training and Competition Center to organize theAFC/VFF ‘B’ Certificate Coaching Course – Module 1 from February 17 to February 28, 2025, in Nam Dinh City. The goal of the course is to train and improve the professional skills of the coaching staff of VFF.
During the 12-day module 1, participants will be taught theoretical knowledge by instructors on coaching methods, coaching principles, skills in executing technical and tactical methods, and specialized topics such as integrity in sports, physical fitness, psychology, and sports science. In addition to completing the theoretical content, participants will also engage in practical training on the field, covering fundamental and comprehensive elements required for a B-level coach according to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) standards.
After completing module 1, participants will continue to take part in and complete module 2 of the course, which is scheduled to take place in May 2025.
